The airship U.S.S.R, V 6, completed a 130-hour flight without refuelling, beating the previous record of the Graf Zeppelin, by 11 hours. With her sister ships, she will begin a 1,000-mile freight and passenger service from Moscow to Sverdlovsk in 1938.
