CHEAP GRAZING
CATTLE OWNER SOLVES A PROBLEM * By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, July 19 A frank statement that he got up at 3 o’clock every morning and took his cattle on to a neighbour’s property to graze till about 7 o'clock was made by Archibald George Gledhill, owner of -Coronation Castle,” Point Howard, in the Supreme Court to-day. “This was Gledhill’s chief answer to charges that he had ill-treated a Jersey bull, a heifer and a heifer calf by failing to supply them with sufficient food and water, also that he had omitted to supply them with proper and sufficient food and water. There was six charges. He was found not guilty of deliberate cruelty, but guilty of omitting to supply proper and sufficient food and water.
