A LIGHT LIST
DUNEDIN SESSIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, July 19. Tliere was a light list for the Supreme Court, which opened this morning, the only case for trial being charges against Ebenezer Thomas Lindsay, of negligently driving a car causing death and bodily injury, in which the jury returned a true bill. David Littlejohn Brunton and Leonard George Robertson pleaded guilty to breaking and entering a storehouse and stealing a quantity of boots, and were remanded till Thursday for sentence. The trial then commenced of Ebenezer Thomas Lindsay, a grocer’s assistant, of Oamaru, on charges of negligently driving a motor car thereby causing the death of George Bilton and bodily injury to Andrew Findlay Bain. The case was unfinished when the Court rose.
