NAZI ART
HERR HITLER’S AMAZING OUTBURST United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright MUNICH, July 18. Opening the House of German Art, a semi-classical building for annual exhibitions Herr Hitler denounced the disastrous effect of Jewish critics and art dealers on pre-Nazi German art, by reducing it to the level of fashion designing. Those who could not see the grass green and the sky blue, should, if medical examination showed their disability as hereditary, receive attention from the sterilisation department. Few of the 20,000 painters and sculptors came up to the Nazi Ideals.
Dr Goebbels acclaimed Herr Hitler as the greatest master of German art of all time. "Chancellor Hitler stands at the head of German art, not only as its patron, but its greatest master,” declared Governor Adolf Wagner, opening the Munich art festival. England is aware that Herr Hitler painted several water colours, but has not suspected that such an ambitious claim could be based thereon.
