OBITUARY
MR G. N. STURTEVANT By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, July 17. The death nas occurred of Mr G. N. Sturtevant, 79, who retired some years ago from the position of head of the lithographic department of the Government Printing Office, aged 79. Mr Sturtevant came to New Zealand as a child of five from Nottingham. He joined the Survey Department, Auckland, as a draughtsman, and in 1889 was transferred to Wellington, and from the Government Survey Office was appointed to the Government Printing Office, where he became head of the lithographic department. He is survived by a son and a daughter. MR W. A. BAUDINET By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, July 17. The death has occurred at the age of 63 of Mr W. A. Baudinet, who was a prominent member of the Masonic Lodge, having been secretary and leter treasurer of Lodge Leinster, of which he was a Past Master. He was also a well-known member of the Caledonian Society, of which he was a life member and a chieftain. He was bom at Oamaru and educated at the Waitaki Boys' High School.
