The finals resulted:— Half Mlle: A. J. Collyer (Watford Harriers). Time—lmln 53.35ec. The title holder, J. V. Powell, was unplaced. 100 Yards: C. B. Holmes (Manchester Athletic). Time—9.9 sec. A. W. Sweeney the title holder, was second, and E. L. Page third. 120 Yards Hurdles: D. O. Finlay (Air Force), the title holder. Time—l4.ssec. An English native record. 220 Yards: Sweeney (Air Force), the title holder. Time—2l.9sec. Holmes was second. Three Mlles: P. D. Ward (Achilles Club). Time—l4mln 19.8 sec. Long Jump—L. Long (Germany), 24ft 6iin., a championship record. Quarter Mile. Roberts (Salford Athletic). Time—4B.2, a championship record. R. W. Wylde (Edinburgh Athletic) was second, and J. C. Horsfall (Achilles) third. The Marathon was won by McNab Robertson (Maryhill Harriers). Time—2hr 37min 191 sec. Robertson was the title holder. NEW 800-METRE RECORD United Frees Association— By Electric Telegrnoh Copyright (Received July 18, 11.5 p.m.) DALLAS, July 19 John Woodruff put up a world record of 1.47.8 for 800 metres, in a race at the Pan-American track and field games.
