GILDO AND JARVIS MATCHED Advice was received last evening from Wellington that the application made by Jack Jarvis to have his bout at Timaru altered to July 27 had been agreed to by Gildo and confirmed by the New Zealand Boxing Council. The bout will now take place in the Theatre Royal on Tuesday. July 27. PLANS FOR BOUTS United t ress Association—By Electric Telegraph —Cooyrlgbt LONDON, July 15. Maurice Strickland is leaving for New York on July 16. It is reported that he will meet Pastor on the same night as the Louis-Farr bout. Strickland will later return to England to prepare for a bout, probably with Jack Doyle.
