THE CHURCHES
“Life” is the subject of the Lessonsermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, to-morrow. The Golden Text is “ Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. (Luke 20: 37, 38).
The Rev. F. H. Wilkinson will conduct the usual services to-morrow at Trinity Presbyterian Church, also a service at Cullmann town, commencing at 7.30 p.m.
The services in St. John’s parish are advertised in this issue. Attention is called to the monthly 9.30 a.m. choral eucharist at St. John’s and the family service to follow. The services in the Congregational Church, will be conducted by the Rev. J. Milburn Stewart. Services at the Baptist Church will be conducted by Rev. J. Russell Grave.
Tire services at Chalmers are advertised on the second page of this issue. Services at Woodlands Street Methodist Church will be conducted by the Rev. C. Blair in the morning and by Rev. B. J. James in the evening. The preacher at St. Paul’s, Highfleld, will be Rev. J. Baird. Mr Lionel Macdonald will be the speaker to-morrow evening at the Assembly Mission Hall.
