FARMER DROWNED
CAR CAPSIZED IN A SWAMP By Telegraph Press Association TAIHAPE, July 15. A two-seater <,ar was four.d capsized in a swamp near Moawhango this morning. The driver Leonard Harold Floyd. 40. married, with two children, a farmer at Moawhango, was pinned under the car in three feet of water and slush. He had been dead for several hours. Floyd was gassed during the war and is known to have had drowsy turns. It is assumed that Ik fell asleep at the wheel.
