BLENHEIM SESSIONS By Telegraph —Press Association BLENHEIM, July 15. Probation for two years was granted by the Chief Justice this morning to Lewis John William Tuckerman (20), guilty of carnal knowledge. Arnold Clinton Hodson (24), pleaded guilty to carnal knowledge, and was sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment, the judge stating that the case was more serious than Tuckerman’s, and stressing that young men must learn that they could not seduce young girls with impunity. Henry William Smith, hotel employee, Picton, was found guilty of assault charges on Herbert Brodgen, at Picton, on June 6. Leslie Wilson was found guilty of assaulting Brodgen so as to cause actual bodily harm. The prisoners were remanded till to-morrow for sentence. •
