GROWTH OF MEMBERSHIP By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, June 24 Since the Labour Government was elected to office, membership of the New Zealand Workers’ Union has grown from 5000 to more than 30,000, and it is anticipated that next year will see a further increase to 50,000. This statement was a feature of the reports placed before the annual conference of the Union which is being held at Wellington. There are 22 delegates present.
