PRESENTATION OF CUPS
FUNCTION TO-MORROW NIGHT The cups for the district bay competition will be presented to the first and second placegetters, Waimate and Levels, respectively, at a function on the stage at the show to-morrow night at .30, according to a decision of the Executive of the Association at a meeting last night. In view of the fact that it will be the concluding night of tlie exhibition, proceedings will be carried on until 10.30 instead of the usual closing hour of 10 o'clock. To-morrow afternoon will be a gala one for the children, the chief attraction being a fancy dress party which is timed ot commence at 2.30. Children taking part are to attend not later than 1.45 and there will be no entry fee, although a charge will be made for admission to the building. An added attraction during the afternoon will be a demonstration of lightning sketching from the stage by Mr Rex Carlton.
