A meeting of shareholders of WilI son’s (N.Z.) Portland Cement Ltd. was [ held to consider proposals to increase ! the capital to £600,000 by the creation of 600,000 10 - shares. World production for the year ended March 1937 totalled 177.400 tons, against 147,000 for the previous 12 months. World consumption statistics are available only up to the end of February, 1937, being 160,391 tons, which represents an Increase of 71 per cent, over the figures for the previous year.
