In acknowledgment of Britisli hospitality, Mr Savage and Mr and Mrs Nash gave an at home at the Savoy Hotel. Six hundred guests included the nobilities, Lord and Lady Halifax, the Duke and Duchess of Bessborough, Lord Barnby, Lord and Lady Balfour, Lord and Lady Bledisloe, Lord Atkins, Lord Ellbank, Lord and Lady Hewart, the Duchess of Atholl, the Maharaja of Baroda, also Sir Samuel and Lady Hoare, Mr Malcolm MacDonald, Mr and Mrs DuffCooper, Sir A. and Lady Godley, several foreign diplomats, and the High Commissioners.
