JAPANESE TO OPEN NEGOTIATIONS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Cnoyrlght (Received June 24, 6.30 p.m.) TOKIO, June 23. Following informal conversations in London, the Japanese Foreign Office has instructed the Japanese Ambassador (Mr Shigeru Yoshida) to open formal negotiations with the British Foreign Secretary (Mr R. A. Eden) with a view to the readjustment of British and Japanese relations, principally as regards trade.
