TOUR IN STOLEN CARS
BURGLARY AT STORE By Telegraph—Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, June 23. The conversion of three cars and a burglary at Fox’s Store, Okato, from which the safe containing cash and cheques was stolen were admitted by Henry J. A. Lomax, aged 19, and Pl. blip Daniel Trainor, aged 24, in the Magistrate’s Court. Exchanging one car for another when the petrol was exhausted they travelled from Auckland to Wellington, robbing the store en route, and were arrested aboard the Maunganul as she was about to leave for Sydney. The two men were committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. On a charge of converting a car at Auckland, they were remanded to appear there to-morrow.
