SAVAGE CLUB i FORTNIGHTLY KORERO The fortnightly korero of the Waimate Savage Club was held on Tuesday. Warrior C. M. Asher was installed as Great Chief for the evening by Great Chief N. L. Knell. Tlie programme opened with selections by the orchestra under the conductorship of Savage C. E. Manchester. Performing for the first time during the present season, the choir, conducted by Ex-Great Chief W. P. Black, sang two selections which were i well received. Other items were given by Chief Scribe B. S. Runciman, humorous stories; Savage A. Stent, euphonium solo; Savage L. C. Stanford, songs; Warrior J. L. Menzies, musical monologues. Brave R. G. Shackleton was accompanist. A feature of the programme was an address by Scalphunter A. J. Lamder on "Electricity—how it is brought to the home.”
