PAREORA
A very enjoyable afternoon was spent recently when members of the Pareora Women’s Institute entertained the players of the Drama Circle, winners of the Mary Collier Cup at the festival at St. Andrews. Amusing written and singing competitions were held, including a telegram competition, the results showing much ingenuity. Songs were given by Mrs Judge and Miss Wilks and a pianoforte solo by Miss L. Coote. Mrs Nelson Wright, judge of the recent drama festival was present and gave an interesting and helpful talk to the members.
