Signor Starace reporting to the Fascist Grand Council announced the membership as follows: Fascist 2,027,400 University Fascist .. .. 75,436 Young Fascists .. .. 1,270,435 Female Fascist Groups .. 1,344,737 Fascist Associations .. 691,531 Clubs and Sporting Acsociations 3,842,450 The Council passed a resolution approving of the party’s activities in 1936, also the activity of the Fascist Corporations which proved themselves “the most useful economic instruments yet devised for Italy.”
