LAST NIGHT’S SPORTS HOPKINS WINS CYCLING EVENT Unsatisfactory weather caused the Fairlie Cycle and Athletic Club’s sports programme last night to be curtailed, and instead of the cycle track races a road race was held to Kimbell and back. MACKENZIE COLLIE TRIALS Considerable support is expected for the Mackenzie Collie Club’s annual trials which are to be held at Burke's Pass on Friday and Saturday. The club is closely associated with the early history of the Mackenzie Country, and the resumption of its activities has brought a revival of interest which promises success.. For Saturday afternoon, a sports programme, including cycling and various novelty events, has been arranged. Apart from the trial events there be a special driving class for which Mr T. D. Burnett, M.P., has given a silver cup. Mr Burnett himself will be the judge.
