The Minister of Defence (Sir Archdale Parkhill) announced that final arrangements had been made for the provision of two-way radio telephone communication for planes between Brisbane and Hobart, and on the route between Melbourne and Adelaide. Radio stations would be Installed at the aerodromes at Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Launceston, Hobart and Adelaide.
