SWIMMING
SOUTH END CLUB The South End Swimming Club’s aggregate competitions were advanced a further stage at the Century Baths on Wednesday when, in spite of the unpleasant weather conditions there was a good attendance of members and supporters. The competitors were in fine form and the racing was keen with close finishes in each event. The winners of the various events were as follows: Junior Girls, 15 yards—N. E. Foden 1. N. B. Foden 2, A. Beynon 3. Also started—M. Latter. Junior Boys, 25 yards—R. Findlay 1, R. Fowler 2, C. McConachy 3. Open Handicap—G. Griffiths 1, C. Griffiths 2, C. McConachy 3. Also started—N. E. Foden, E. Beynon, R. Findlay, J. Fowler, E. Campbell. Diving Open—G. Griffiths 1, C. McConachy 2, R. Findlay 3. Also competed —E| Beynon, N. E. Foden, J. Fowler.
