The Government struck a surprise blow at Bavarian Catholicism, when it decreed that all non-Aryans employed in Catholic schools and institutions must be discharged without pension. Aryans must prove themselves as unreservedly Nazi. Catholic authorities regard the decree as aimed at destroying the remaining Catholic institutions in Bavaria.
