The death has occurred of Mr Benjamin Chaffey, chairman of the Victoria Amateur Turf Club, and owner of Whittier, Manfred and other good horses In bygone years. Antill, C. 8., C.M.G., aged fifty-one. He has seen service in India, South Africa, Gallipoli and France.
