TOO MUCH CROONING
CUT DOWN BY JAZZ BANDS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 2, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 1. Deciding that there is too much crooning in dance bands’ programmes, the Broadcasting Corporation has instructed dance band leaders to cut down the vocal items to one in three nuthbers.
