IMPRISONMENT FOR SEVEN DAYS
DISORDERLY BEHAVIOUR Sentence of seven days’ imprisonment with hard labour was passed on William Boyd, of no fixed abode, who appeared at a special sitting of the Temuka Magistrate’s Court before Mr E. Blackmore, J.P., on Saturday morning. Charges of using obscene language in a public place and behaving in a disorderly manner in a public place were heard against the accused, who was convicted and discharged on the second charge. The evidence showed that the accused had been acting in a disorderly manner at about midnight and was arrested at 2.15 a.m. on Saturday.
