A message of Christmas cheer and goodwill was broadcast by the Prime Minister (Mr M. J. Savage) on Thursday night, through the national radio stations, and again at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon. After specially addressing himself to the children, to whom Christmas meant so much, Mr Savage went on to say that, regardless of political beliefs and differing opinions as to the best means of lifting the world out of the present crisis, he hoped that before the New Year was very far advanced many of those problems would have been overcome by the I co-operation of al!. The people as a I whole would then be able to share in the prosperity that was returning to the Dominion.
