WANGANUI REGATTA By Telegraph—Press Association WANGANUI, December 2« The Boxing Day regatta was largely attended. The weather conditions were excellent. Results: — Free-for-All, Motor Boats (three miles) —Miss Ethell 111 1, Cyclone 2, Whoopee 3. Maiden Fours (open), one mile —Star No. 1 1, Aramoho 2, Star No. 2 3. Also started—Clifton, Petone, Wellington No. 2, Wanganui, Wellington No. 1. Star led all the way. Maiden Double Sculls, one mile— Union (Wanganui) 1. Aramoho 2, Petone 3. Won by eight lengths. Youths’ Fours, one mile—Union (Wanganui) 1, Petone 2, Wellington 3. Also started: Clifton, New Plymouth, Aramoho. Won by a length and a half. Senior Fours, one mile and a half— Union (Wanganui) 1, Wanganui 2. Aramoho and Star (dead heat) 3. Clifton and Petone pulled out.
