LONG LOST SON
FAMILY REUNITED THROUGH PICTURES United Press Association—By Elactrie Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, December 26 Canon Hammond says that a parcel of New Zealand illustrated papers that had been left by an anonymous woman donor at a receiving depot for gifts for the poor, has been the means of reuniting a sick returned soldier and his father. The papers were presented to a soldier, a New Zealander, who read in one of them that his father, whom he had not seen for years, was seeking him urgently. The son communicated with the lather, and arranged to return to New Zealand by the first available steamer.
