TIMARU RECORDS (Corrected to Summer Time) Sun rose at Timaru to-day 4.51 a.m.; sets 7.54 p.m. High water at Timaru 2.44 pun. today; 3.11 am. to-morrow. PHASES OF THE MOON Full Moon Nov. 29, 4.12 am. CONDITIONS IN TIMARU Low clouds and a southerly wind provided unpleasant conditions yesterday; the temperature, however, was mild. Rain appeared likely in the evening when misty clouds approached from the south-east and about eight o’clock a light drizzle commenced. Records at Timaru Park yesterday were:—

Sunshine to date this year—l363.shrs I.N OTHER CENTRES Christchurch.—The weather yesterday was overcast but fine with a maximum temperature of 61.3 degrees. A fresh S.S.W. breeze in the morning moderated in the afternoon. The barometer rose steadily to 29.92 inchse. Ashburton.— The sky was overcast yesterday and conditions were fairly cool. There was a light south-westerly wind.
Temuka.—Yesterday was cool with an overcast sky. The maximum temperature was 60 degrees and the minimum 43. The glass was rising last evening. Waimate (for the 24 hours ended 9 am., yesterday).—Thermometer, highest 62, lowest 48; bright sunshine, 2 hours; wind gauge, miles run in the last 24 hours, 110. Yesterday was cloudy. Geraldine.—Air temperatures, mini’mum 46, maximum 70, at 9 am., 64. Dull and overcast. Dunedin.—A slight breeze from the south-east prevailed yesterday and heavy mist covered hills and came down almost to sea level. There were several light showers. The barometer rose sharply to 29.90 inches. The maximum temperature was 64 degrees.
