ENGINE TROUBLE
REPORT FROM MAKURA By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, November 27. The Union Company’s head office received wireless advice to-day from the Makura, en route from San Francisco to Papeete, that a breakage had occurred in the vessel's machinery involving the disablement of one engine. The mishap was not of a serious nature and the engineers had effected repairs. The . vessel was expected to arrive at Papeete on time.
