DEATH OF SIAMESE TWIN
SEPARATED BY SURGICAL OPERATION United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright NEW YORK, November 25. Two unusual operations separated Simplicio and Lucio Godino, the Siamese twins, aged 28 years, after Lucio’s death from rheumatic fever. Separate circulatory systems encourage the belief that Simplicio will live. They also have separate nervous systems. An anaesthetic was unnecessary. One operation was necessary for severance while the other was plastic.
