United ress Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, November 26.
Launching a strong attack on Boots Company, in the Legislative Assembly to-day, the Leader of the Opposition iMr J. T. Lang) pledged the next Labour Government to sweep Boots out of New South Wales. Mr Lang argued that Boots was primarily an American Company, in reality an international drug combine. He claimed that if Boots opened here existing chemists would be run out of business and ciiaos would result. The Premier (Mr B. S. B. Stevens), replying, said that with the exception of 4 per cent of the ordinary capital, Boots was wholly British.
