Arrested on arrival of the steamer Hertford from Auckland, *hree able seamen, Thomas James Connor (21), Brendan Christopher O’Neill (26) and James John Hawkins (18), were charged in the Magistrate’s Court today with breaking and entering the shop of Arthur Eady, Limited, 112 Queen Street, Auckland, and stealing musical instruments, cash and stamps of a total value of £7l/13/5. Accused were remanded to appear atAuckland on September 5.
