OBJECTION TAKEN By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, September 1. Mr Mountjoy, secretary of the Wellington Employers’ Association, stated to-day that the building trade opposes the Government establishing joinery factories in connection with the housing scheme. The New Zealand Federated Builders’ Association is combining with the Timber Merchants’ Association in making representations to the Government opposing State competition with private enterprise in the way proposed.
