SEVERE INJURIES
WOMAN STRUCK BY TRAIN By Telegraph —Press Association PALMERSTON N„ September 1. While walking across the railway line in the main street this afternoon Mrs Jean Jackson was knocked down by a train and critically injured. Mrs Jackson was crossing the rails at a spot between recognised crossings, but how she failed to see or hear the train is inexplicable.
