RATE PAYMENTS
SLIGHT INCREASE SHOWN An increase of £2/19/1 is revealed in the amount collected by the Temuka Borough Council as payment of rates for this year. To date £873/3/4 has been paid in as compared with £B7l 4/3 for the corresponding period of last year. The town clerk (Mr L. Butters) stated yesterday that discount would not be given on any rates paid after Monday, August 31.
