TWO MEN DROWNED
CAR FALLS INTO STREAM By Telegraph —Pi Association AUCKLAND, August 23. Two men were drowned in a motor accident at Waingaro, 16 miles west of Ngaruawahia, early this morning. The victims were— John Stevens, aged 62. a widower. William Cole, aged 26, single. Both were miners of Glen Afton. They were passengers in a car which left the road and fell into a stream. The bodies have not yet been recovered. Two other occupants of the car scrambled ashore.
