GERALDINE v. CLANDEBOYE Playing at Geraldine at Saturday, the Clandeboye third grade team beat the Geraldine No. 2 team by 7 goals to 6. There was an exceptionally keen tussle in the first half, and sound defence by both sides effectively prevented scoring. When half-time sounded, Clandeboye held a lead of three goals to one. There were more scores in the second spell, and although Geraldine gained a lead at one stage of the match, Clandeboye won by a margin of one goal. In a friendly second grade match at Clandeboye the home team defeated Geraldine by 22 goals to 18, a goal being scored for every minute of the game. Clandeboye led by 12 to 11 at half time. Miss Sylvia Powell was referee.
