STRIKE THREAT AT PORT KEMBLA United Press Association — Sv Electric Telegraph CooyrlKh r (Received August 10, 11.55 pm.) SYDNEY, August 10. The threatened strike at the Port Kembla iron and steel works has been averted as a result of a compulsory’ conference of the parties concerned, as a result of which the dispute has been referred to the State Industrial Commission, which will adjudicate upon it.
