CYCLIST KILLED
COLLISION WITH CAR By Telegraph—Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, June 11. One man was killed and another seriously injured at Oakura to-night. They were found lying on the road near their damaged motor-cycle in circumstances that suggested they lad been struck by a car. The dead man was Leonard Blanchard, a farmhand employed in the district. Thomas July, also a young farmhand, was admitted to hospital with injuries to the legs and chest. IZe is in a serious condition. The police are investigating but have not yet traced the other vehicle involved in the collision.
