WHITSUNTIDE RECESS ENDS British Official Wireless (Received June 10, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY. June 9. The House of Commons reassembled to-day after the Whitsun recess for a session with a heavy legislative programme. The first business is the Finance Bill, which gives statutory effect to the proposals outlined by the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr Neville Chamberlain) in his Budget speech.
