YACHT MISSING
LAST SEEN AFTER EASTER By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, June 10. It is reported that J. T. Lovell, a relief worker and amateur yachtsman, who lived on the Hutt river in his yacht Tasman J, has not been seen or heard of since he left Port Underwood on April 21. He was seen in Tory Channel shortly after Easter battling against a north-west wind and it was presumed at that time he was heading for Wellington. The caretaker of the Wellington boat harbour said to-day that Lovell had left Wellington on Good Friday for Port Underwood, but his information was that Lovell had not put in there. However, a message received from Blenheim this afternoon states that Lovell visited Port Underwood at Easter, but left there on April 21. Lovell’s people reside in Christchurch.
