AUSTRALIAN PLAYERS IN AMERICA. INTERNATIONAL MATCH United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyrigh t (Received February’ 5, 8.15 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, February 4. The visiting Australian golfers played American opponents on fairly even terms in the morning round in the international matches at Lakewood Club course to-day, but during the afternoon round the Australians faltered and the Americans won with a clean sweep. Scores:— Runyan and Parks (United States) defeated Richardson and Cohen (Australia), 3 up and 1 to play. Cooper and Smith (United States) defeated Bolger and Kelly (Australia), 5 and 4. Picard and Dutra (United States’ defeated -Ted Naismith and George Naismith (Australia), 4 and 3. Singles will be played to-morrow.
