(Gore) are guests at the Dominion. Guests registered at the Balmora include Messrs A. McNeill, J. G. Pol son (Christchurch), Stanley Smitl (Methven). G. W. Armitage (Sherwooc Dcwns), and C. Randall (Dunedin). Mr W. R, Fee, of Auckland, has accepted a seat on the head office boari of the Mercantile and General Insur ance Company, Limited, which has :V l-.ead office in Wellington. Messrs F. H. Sherwood, L. D. Cogan W. P. Reed (Dunedin), R. Macdonali (Waikuku), R. M. Collingwood (Invercargill), and J. A. Stevenson (Christchurch) are staying at the Grosvenor Mr G. J. E. Hunter, M.Sc„ A.I.C. until recently a member of the bacteriological staff of the Otago Medica School, has taken up an appointmen’ with the Department of Scientific Research in the North Island. Mr W. H. Henderson of the staff o: the Balclutha Primary School, has been appointed head teacher at Wataroa. Westland, and will relinquisl his position at Balclutha when thi school breaks up on December 19.
