WRESTLING
A WIN FOR WALKER By Teleerraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, December 4. George Walker beat Wong Buk Cheung to-night in a poor bout. Cheung took a fall in the third round with a body scissors, but Walker applied such a drastic Boston crab in the sixth that Cheung was unable to continue. HONOURS EVEN By Telegraph—Press Association MASTERTON, December 4. Glen Wade 15.10 and Jaget Singh 16.0 drew with one fall each. Singh scored a fall in the third round with the Indian deathlock, and Wade obtained a submission fall in the seventh with a pile driver. The contest was devoid of much showmanship and provided good, hard wrestling. A COLOURLESS BOUT By Telegraph—Press Association WANGANUI, December 4. King Elliot (Wanganui) 15st. and Johnnie Woods (California) 15st. 101 b., wrestled a draw to-night. Elliot secured a fall in the fourth round with a flying body scissors and crucifix, while Woods secured a submission from Elliot in the seventh with a Boston crab. Flying tackles essayed by both men enlivened an otherwise colourless bout.
