ENCOURAGEMENT FOR TECHNICAL BRANCH United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 3. Mr Oliver Stanley, speaking at Birmingham, revealed that the Government will introduce a seven-year-old plan of technical education, costing £12,000,000 to bring technical education to the level of Britain’s competitors, the Government and local authorities jointly sharing the cost.
