MRS M. HARRALL SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, December 4. The well-known trotting owner, Mrs M. Harrall, died last evening from injuries she received when her motorcar struck a tramway post in Moorhouse Avenue, on the night of Wednesday, November 13. She was 44 years of age. Five persons were in the car, which was travelling east, when it crashed headlong into one of the tramway poles in the centre of the road. Mrs Harrall was very badly injured. Her husband, Mr Thomas Harrall, received injuries to the head, legs and face. He is still in hospital, but is making favourable progress. Mrs Harrall was a prominent figure in trotting circles, and owned many horses, among them being Red Shadow and Royal Silk. Red Shadow won four races at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's spring meeting in 1933.
