NORTH END CLUB A meeting of the committee of the North End Swimming Club was held on Tuesday night at the Waimataitai School. Present —Messrs S. Hollander (in the chair), G. H. Andrews, D. L. McLean, J. Lewis, J. Stockwell, S. G. Crerar, and the secretary (L. J. Moyes). It was decided to hold the opening day on Saturday, and a good programme was drawn up. A tea committee was appointed to attend to afternoon tea arrangements on opening day. WEST END CLUB The West End Swimming Club commenced its weekly swims under ideal weather conditions. Club, which is catering particularly for junior and intermediate swimmers, opened the new season last evening at the West End baths, Messrs E. Budd, A. J. McKay, F. Lobb and F. E. S.
