Seamen and many other employees In the shipping Industry will receive increases of pay under awards delivered by the Federal Arbitration Court today. Able seamen will receive an increase from £l3/2/6 a month to £l4/7/6. The overtime rate, however, has been reduced from 2/9 to 2/6 an hour. The wages of firemen and greasers are increased by 25/- to £l6/17/6 and trimmers by 25/- to £l4/7/6.
